Evaluation of the bactericidal activity of Bac-C12 and Bac-Lp-I on E. coli ATCC 25922 and S. aureus ATCC 25923. The bactericidal activity with Bac-C12 (panel a) and Bac-Lp-I (panel b) on E. coli ATCC 25922 and S. aureus ATCC 25923 cells was determined using a mid-logarithmic phase bacterial suspension, diluted in fresh MHB to a final concentration of 10⁶ CFU/mL, and incubated for 30 min at 37 °C with increasing concentrations of peptide. Samples were then diluted in PBS, plated on MH agar, and incubated overnight to allow the colony counts. UNT = untreated cells. Data are the mean ± SD of three independent experiments.
