Hispolon inhibited cell proliferation and induced cell apoptosis in GBM cells. (A) GBM cells were treated with different concentrations of hispolon (0–100 μM) for 24 or 48 h, and the cell viability was detected through MTT assay. (B) GBM cells were treated with 75 μM hispolon for 24 h and then subjected to annexin V-FITC staining followed by flow cytometry analysis. (C) GBM cells were treated with different concentrations of hispolon (0–75 μM) for 48 h and subjected to Western blot analysis with antibodies against PARP, cleaved caspase-3, and cleaved caspase-9.
