Among the whole population, the numbers of people who were diagnosed with anaphylaxis or agranulocytosis at least once were 15,015 and 30,223, respectively. We selected people who did not have ruled-out diagnoses and for whom demographic information was available. After adapting exclusion criteria, the final sample size was 14,094 for anaphylaxis and 29,481 for agranulocytosis.
