Optimization parameter adjustment shown for an arbitrary organ at risk (OAR) structure. To find optimization parameters for a predicted dose distribution, the nearest neighbor (NN) dose-volume histogram (DVH) was compared to the dose prediction DVH. Adjustments were made for all OARs, in case the dose prediction was better than the NN dose. No adjustments were made, when the NN dose was better than the predicted dose.
