Example dose distribution predicted by the 2.5D densely connected U-Net shown for one of the patients from the test dataset, as well as the deliverable dose distribution, optimized based on the model’s dose prediction, and the ground truth (GT). All dose distributions are shown in the axial plan together with their corresponding dose-volume histogram (DVH) curves. Both, model prediction and the deliverable dose distribution resulted in a DVH similar to the clinical GT distribution.
