SMR 0.32

The comparison of actual and predicted mortality rates associated with the treatment of TEN showed the predicted mortality to be 9.32 cases (21.7%) in all patients and the actual mortality to be three cases (6.98%). In this study, there were no significant differences between predicted and actual mortality (p = 0.1017, X2 test with Yates' continuity correction). SMR, standardized mortality ratio.
