Panels B and C show low-power confocal photomicrographs of sections double-labeled against ACE2 and calretinin (CR, panel B) or tyrosine hydroxylase (TH, panel C). High-power photomicrographs of the squared regions labeled as B₁ and C₁ are shown in the lower panels. ACE2 positive neurons were negative for CR (panel B_1s) in the glomerular layer but positive for TH (panel C_1s).
