Correlation analysis between bacterial genus and PANSS. Bacterial genera were selected from Figure 4 of the heatmap according to the following criteria: taxa that were significantly different from the healthy control group. Among those taxa, succinivibrio, Haemophilus, lactobacillus, megasphaera, desulfovibrio, coprococcus, clostridum, and lachnospira were chosen. Haemophilus is positive associated with psychiatric symptoms on PANSS, Coprococcus is negative associated with negative symptoms on PANSS. PANSS, Positive and negative syndrome scale.
