Quantitative real-time RT-PCR analysis of time-course expression of the OsMEK2 interactors OsMPK1, OsMPK6, and OsWRKY90 in leaf sheaths of wild-type (WT) rice (cultivar DJ), ΔOsmek2 #2 and 35S:OsMEK2 #4 plants infected with avirulent Magnaporthe oryzae 007. Leaf sheaths of wild-type (cultivar DJ), ΔOsmek2 #2 and 35S:OsMEK2 #4 plants were sampled at different time points after inoculation, followed by total RNA extraction. Relative gene expression of OsMPK1, OsMPK6, and OsWRKY90 (Os09g30400) at each time point was obtained by normalizing with respect to the expression of the internal control OsUbiquitin (Os06g46770) gene. Data represent the means ± SD from three independent experiments. Different letters above the bars indicate significantly different means (P < 0.05), as analyzed by Fisher’s protected least significant difference (LSD) test.
