Vector distribution in brain regions of AAV-PhP.B-GFP-administered mice. (A) Mice (n = 5) were administered 2.5 × 10¹¹ GC/mouse by intravenous (IV) injection. The expression cassette used contained the CAG, GFP, and poly(A) tail. (B) Tissue was collected 6 weeks after surgery and analyzed for the distribution of the vectors. Significantly more vector DNA was retrieved from the cortex, striatum, and thalamus of AAV-PhP.B-GFP-administered mice when compared to vehicle (PBS). The statistical analysis was performed by a one-way ANOVA followed by the Tukey’s multiple comparisons test, comparing groups with vehicle. Asterisks indicate a statistical significance of p ≤ 0.05.
