Effect of ABK5 on inflammatory pain and edema in female rats. CFA was injected into one hindpaw, and starting 3 h later, rats were treated twice-daily for 3 days with vehicle or ABK5 i.p. On Day 4, mechanical threshold (von Frey test; A), biased weight-bearing (B), and locomotor activity (C) were assessed from 30 to 240 min after the final injection. Paw thickness, an index of edema (D) was assessed after all behavioral tests were completed at the 240-min time point.
