BBR protected primary cultured human RPE cells against H₂O₂ induced injury. (a) Primary cultured hRPE cells were pretreated with different concentrations of BBR (0.3 to 10 μM) for 2 h and then incubated with or without H₂O₂ for further 24 h. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. (b) Primary cultured hRPE cells were pretreated with 5 μM PIKIII or 10 μM 3-MA for 2 h, followed by 10 μM BBR for 2 h and then incubated with or without H₂O₂ for further 24 h.
