Log% abundance of each species and sums of species and of the LbRC5 scores at the indicated days were initially analyzed with ROC curves. All indicated comparison pairs were analyzed for each of these targets, only those with significant P scores are shown. The optimal threshold values (TH) were determined from the likelihood ratios and used to group individual scores as positive or negative for analysis with Fisher’s exact tests. Positive predictive values (PPV) and negative predictive values (NPV) above 0.75 are emphasized in bold. AUC = area under the ROC curve, approximately the test accuracy. CI = confidence interval.
