CD11c+ cells in islets prevent T cell arrest. NOD.CD11c-DTR BM chimeras containing 90% NOD.CD11c-DTR BM + 10% NOD.CD11c-DTR.8.3.CD2-dsRed BM were treated twice with PBS (intact) or DT (CD11c depleted). 48 h after treatment initiation, T cell motility was analyzed in explanted islets by two-photon microscopy.
