Prognostic factors
Pulmonary hypertension
  • Resting SPAP ≥ 50 mmHg

  • Most often present with associated MS

  • Symptoms of right heart failure

  • Related to increased surgical risk

Recent onset AF
  • Related to LA remodeling

Increased ventricular diameters
  • Consider diameters depending on the type of valve lesion
