Drought treatment was applied to some of the 5-week-old well-watered plants by withholding water for 6 days and rewatered for recovery thereafter. Tubers were harvested from both well-watered and drought-stressed plants of 56 genotypes at their maturity. The data represent the mean from three experiments ± SE.
