The timeline starts in 1983 with Immunization Law No. 25, which states that no student or preschool child may be admitted or enrolled in a school or day care center if he or she is not properly immunized. The figure shows that, along the 38-year period and prior to the HPV school-entry milestone, policy efforts to increase HPV vaccine accessibility were made, and it displays the response to deter this policy and challenges endured prior to its implementation.
