Week 11 (March 10–16, 2019) to week 24 (June 9–15, 2019) defined as the pre-COVID-19 pandemic period and week 11 (March 8–14, 2020) to week 24 (June 7–13, 2020) as the COVID-19 pandemic weeks. Percentage reduction in number of stroke hospitalization between 2019 and 2020 is calculated as [(2019–2020)/(2019)] × 100, and the bootstrap resamples were used to determine the 95% CI with 1,000 bootstrap resamples.
