(A) Shortened OnControl™ needle with distal fenestrations (arrows) added. In all experiments, this needle was driven directly into the iliac-crest to the hub. A longer needle was used for CT-guided percutaneous access. (B) Simultaneous infusion and intra-marrow pressure monitoring with a Millar catheter through a hemostasis screw type Y-connector connected to an OnControl™ needled inserted into the iliac-crest.
