Determination of Zn²⁺ contents in the N-terminal and C-terminal regions of p235. The amounts of Zn²⁺ associated with the indicated proteins were determined as described in Materials and Methods. After the readout EDTA was added to a final concentration of 2 mM. The difference in the values for A₅₀₀ measured in the absence and presence of EDTA was used to calculate the mole equivalents of liberated Zn²⁺.
