Effect of temperature on the length of the incubation period in grape berries that were injured (a) or uninjured (b) and artificially inoculated with Coniella diplodiella conidia (experiment 3). After they were inoculated, the berries were kept at 30 °C and with 100% relative humidity for 12 h to facilitate infection, and were subsequently kept at one of the six indicated temperatures. Period lengths were expressed as the number of hours required to reach 50% disease incidence (IP50). The lines show the fit of the data with Equation (5).
