Conductive scaffold-based Cardiac Tissue Engineering. Due to infarction, collagen-rich scar tissue significantly impairs the electrical conductivity of the myocardium. Cell-laden nanomaterial-based conductive constructs can restore the electrical activity of the damaged myocardium with alleviated functions when implanted in-vivo.
