Pediatric and Adult manifestation of the DICER1 syndrome. DICER1 syndrome is a cancer predisposition syndrome, which has an overrepresentation of numerous tumors including pinoblastomas, pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPB), pituitary blastomas (PitB), cystic nephroma, Ovarian sex Cord-Stromal Tumors (OSCST), Sertoli-Leydig Cell Tumors (SLCT), nasal chondromesenchymal hamartoma (NCMH), cervix embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma (cERMs), multimodular goiter/differentiated thyroid caner (MNG/DTC) and ciliary body medulloepithelioma (CBME, adapted from Choong et al. 2012).
