Multivariate correlation analyses performed for all PwO and by excluding Ob-T2DM, evaluating the impact of those parameters that showed significant correlations in univariable analysis (FFM and GAUC) on parameters of metabolic response to exercise, that is, RERpeak, ΔRER, and ΔRER%. Correlation is expressed as beta coefficient; p value is considered significant in <0.05. FFM, fat free mass; GAUC, glucose area under curve; RER, respiratory exchange ratio; RERpeak, respiratory exchange ratio at peak of exercise; ΔRER, RERpeak-RERrest; PwO, people with obesity; Ob-T2DM, people with obesity and type 2 diabetes; BMI, body mass index.
Adjusted for BMI.
