Calcineurin and PKC pathways are associated with tolerance to tunicamycin and caspofungin. Genes encoding components of the calcineurin pathway (A) and the PKC pathway (B) were deleted in SC5314. Spot assays were performed to compare the deletion strains and the wild-type parent for susceptibility to tunicamycin (TUN), caspofungin (CSP), and hydroxyurea (HU).
