Participants	Inclusion criteria People diagnosed positive for SARS‐CoV‐2 by rRT‐PCR with presence of a fever, cough, sore throat, or a combination Exclusion criteria Allergic to ivermectin or potential for a drug–drug interaction with ivermectin Chronic illnesses (e.g. ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, documented cardiomyopathy, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease) Having received ivermectin in the last 7 days Pregnant or lactating women Participation in any other clinical trial within the last 1 month
