Interventions | Treatment group: Gentamycin 4 mg/kg and Clindamycin 15 mg/kg one hour inter‐operatively hereafter Gentamycin eighthourly and Clindamycin sixhourly for 24 hours if appendix was suppurativ and 72 hours if appendix was gangrenous/perforated. Placebo group: Not stated. Regime as above. | |
