Synage lncRNA regulates stability and function of cerebellar synapses via at least two mechanisms. One is through the function of Synage as a sponge for mmu-miR-325-3p to regulate Cbln1 mRNA expression, which leads to the change of the CBLN1 protein levels. The other function is to serve as a scaffold for orchestrating the assembly of synaptic LRP1-HSP90AA1-PSD-95 complex.
