Expression of UBP43 is regulated during M1 cell differentiation toward macrophages. Total RNAs were isolated from RAW264.7 cells (R); M1 cells cultured in the presence of 100 ng of IL-6 per ml for 0, 1, 2, and 3 days for macrophage differentiation; and 32Dc13 cells cultured in the presence of 500 units of G-CSF per ml for granulocytic cell differentiation. Each lane was loaded with 10 μg of total RNA. The blot was hybridized with a ³²P-labeled UBP43 cDNA probe. Ethidium bromide-stained 18S rRNA is shown to demonstrate equivalent RNA loading.
