In total, 182 patients were screened, with 42 patients excluded. Three patients did not meet the inclusion criteria: acute gout attack for >72 h. Thirty-nine patients were excluded for the following reasons: 19 patients had taken anti-inflammatory drugs, six patients had taken ULT drugs in the last 6 months, eight patients had decreased GFR, two patients had secondary hyperuricemia and one patient, despite signing the informed consent form, did not agree to participate in the study. A total of 129 completed on day 7, 121 completed on day 28.
