Relative expression of flowering-related genes from the samples grown at low red/far-red ratio and high red/far-red ratio from five different growth stages for both L. orientalis BGE016880 and L. culinaris cv. Lupa assessed using RT-qPCR. Sample collection started 2 weeks after emergence and continued once a week for 5 weeks. Samples were taken at the same time of day for each collection. Actin was used as the reference gene for normalization of the data and the delta-delta CT method was used to derive the relative gene expression value 2^-ΔΔCT using samples from the T1 stage at the low R/FR light quality environment as reference. Values represent the mean of biological replicates with their corresponding standard deviation.
