Changes in different blood cell counts and radiotherapy (RT) techniques. This figure shows changes of (A) WBC, (B) neutrophil, (C) monocyte, (D) lymphocyte, and (E) platelet counts, and (F) hemoglobin during RT, for 3 RT technique groups. Patients treated with RapidArc had a more significant reduction in peripheral lymphocyte counts (PLC) than 3D conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT), while counts of WBC, neutrophil, and monocyte were not significantly different between these 2 groups.
