Autophagy regulates MHC-I/II stability. MHC-1/II plays a critical role in antigen presentation for T cell activation and killing, while MHC-I/II undergoes autophagic degradation in cancer cells by NBR1 or March1 leading to tumor immune escape. In addition, AAK1 induces MHC-1 autophagic degradation in DCs resulting in inhibition of antigen presentation and T cell activation
