Table 1. Forty volunteers were enrolled into the immunization groups (20 group CA and 20 group CAT).

16 in each group remained through CHMI. Infectivity controls (12) were enrolled later, in time for CHMI on week 28.

There were no significant differences between groups, except the mean age of the CA group was significantly (ANOVA followed by Tukey testing) higher than the infectivity controls.
