Retinal explants were isolated at postnatal day 10 (P10) and cultured for eleven days in lead compounds at three different concentrations or DMSO. The number of surviving photoreceptor rows was then quantified. (B) Maximally effective dosage of ciclopirox olamine (CPO), artemisinin (ART), and dihydroartemisinin (DHA).
