Schematic diagram of the role of miR-137 in the proliferation of PASMCs during hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension. Our study for the first time demonstrated that miR-137 is a novel regulator of proliferation of PASMCs in hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension by targeting calpain-2 pathway.
