^aHeLa epithelial cells were transfected with control E1bCAT or 3E E1bCAT reporter construct and either control pSG5, USF1, or USF2 expression construct. Promoter activity was determined and expressed as percent acetylation. Percent acetylation values were normalized to that of cotransfected internal control plasmid pSV2LUC.
