Fig. 4 — Some cases of COVID-19 DAD contained foci suggesting vascular damage/endothelitis (A H&E 40x and B H&E 200x). Such foci were felt to represent early changes and likely represent an underreported finding in DAD as opposed to a unique feature of COVID-related disease.
