Adjuvanation of rF1V with CpG improves protection against Y. pestis C12 subcutaneous challenge. BALB/c mice were vaccinated with two subcutaneous doses, 3 weeks apart with mock/PBS, 0.1 µg or 0.5 µg of rF1V with 5 µg CpG (n=10). At 29 days post vaccination, BALB/c mice were subcutaneous challenged with 3.6x103 CFU (approximately 400 LD50 equivalents) of Y. pestis C12. Survival was monitored for 21 days post challenge.
