The impact of delaying blood processing on cryopreserved total viable cell number and viability of samples stored at either RT (n = 5 adult samples) or 4 °C (n = 5 adult samples) prior to processing. Cells were prepared for cryopreservation at a cell density of 10 × 106 cells/mL. Day 0 represents the day of collection. Each point represents the predicted mean with 95% CI. Significance (LSD) is the difference between 4 °C and RT at a particular day; where ns = not significant, * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001.
