Representative ophthalmic images of Epha2+/+ (A, B, C) and Epha2+/ (D, E, F) mice at 11 ± 3, 18 ± 3, and 38 ± 3 weeks of age and Epha2/ (G, H) mice at 11 ± 3 and 18 ± 3 weeks of age, on C57BL/6J background, are shown. Epha2/ mice progressively developed severe ACC by 18 ± 3 weeks of age, panel H, and Epha2+/ mice by 38 ± 3 weeks of age, panel F. The bottom right panel shows cross-section illumination images of cortical cataracts seen in panels H and F.
