Taxonomy shown is the identified genus, and the most closely related species, if known. Samples are averaged into primary phases of the CHIM for each study participant, including pre-challenge, inpatient, post-ciprofloxacin/azithromycin administration, and post-discharge. Samples are shown faceted by treatment group; among those study participants either receiving placebo or rifaximin prophylaxis. Gray squares indicate an ASV was not detected.
