Estimates for the baseline demographic and socioeconomic characteristics are from separate models in which the mental health outcome was regressed on the postpandemic treatment indicator and the interaction of this indicator with the variable listed in the vertical axis. Estimates for the pandemic-related stressors are from separate models in which the mental health outcome was regressed on the pandemic-related stressors. All models control for the baseline lagged-dependent variable and demographic and socioeconomic controls. Continuous moderators are standardised. The full results are reported in the appendix 2 (pp 6–7).
