The Malawian OCO caring for each patient provided the intended treatment plan. Three foot and ankle fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons based in the United States, blinded to the treatment plans of the Malawian OCOs, gave post hoc treatment recommendations based on deidentified patient radiographs.
