LINC00152 knockdown leads to contrary phenotypes in different glioblastoma cell lines. LINC00152 knockdown in U87-MG and LN229 glioblastoma cells has been shown to result in a decrease of cell migration, invasion, proliferation and EMT, indicating its oncogenic properties (right box). However, as we observed in A172 glioblastoma cells, LINC00152 seems to have opposing features (left box).
