Effect of curcumin on the release of β-endorphin and enkephalin in primary DRG neurons. The culture medium was collected 6h after curcumin incubation with primary cells, and the release of β-endorphin and enkephalin was determined by using an ELISA kit. Curcumin at 50 μM significantly increased the release of β-endorphin (A) and enkephalin (B).
