Immune cell populations in the Peyer's patch. (A) The CD4+ cell population was increased in the bacterial translocation (BT) group (P < .05) compared to the control group but decreased in the TU‐100 group (P < .05). (B) The Foxp3+ cell population was increased in the BT group compared to the control group (P < .05) and further increased in the TU‐100 group compared to the BT group. (C) The CD8+ cell population was increased in the BT group (P < .05) compared to the control group but significantly decreased in the TU‐100 group. Only administration of TU‐100 also induced the increase of CD8+ cell population (P < .05). *P < .05, **P < .01, ***P < .001
