Delta B/S values are plotted against exposure time for (A) males and (B) females. ¹²⁵I-insulin BBB transport rates (K_i) are calculated from the curves in A/B for (C) males and (D) females. Males have decreases (p = 0.056) in BBB transport due to HFD while females do not. The level of ¹²⁵I-insulin vascular binding (V_i) was affected by apoE isoform and diet in (E) males (p < 0.01) but not in (F) females. There were not post-hoc differences.
