Participants | 178 women aged 17‐43 years at 6‐20 weeks' gestation with vaginal bleeding and cramps or labour‐like pains. | |
Interventions | Exp: buphenine hydrochloride 6 mg x 3/day for 3 days, then 6 mg x 2/day for 2 days, then 6 mg/day for 2 days. Control: placebo tablets. Both groups: ultrasound after one week. Trial intervention repeated if further symptoms. |
