Effect of food presentation on activity following daridorexant administration to dogs. Activity was assessed by automated image quantification using analysis of movements of the dogs (VideoTrack, ViewPoint, France). Food was presented 3 h following oral daridorexant or vehicle administration to male Beagle dogs that were kept under a regular light–dark cycle. Doses are given as total per dog (i.e., a 30 mg/dog dose relates to about 1.7–1.9 mg/kg). The bowl having contained the food was removed 30 min later. Data were integrated over 5-min time intervals and presented as mean ± standard error of the mean of 6–10 dogs per group. Data-on-file; full experimental details provided by Boss et al. 2020
